Alejandro Ingelmo - (Not yet) a size Blahnik
28. October 2008 Shoes & Sneakers
“The girl who wears these isn’t exactly at home baking cookies or doing laundry.
Maybe the husband does that.” - And he´s wearing eye-catching silver-sneakers…hmmm? …
In opposition to me, the Shoewawa´s are ready to pose the famous question “the next Manolo Blahnik?” while bringing Alejandro Ingelmo´s name up.
I dare to state - the big show belongs to others (at the moment).
But that doesn´t change the fact that we should keep an eye on the Cuba-born designer.
After his studies at Parsons school of Design, Ingelmo debuted in 2006 with his first women shoe-collection. Now based in Manhattan, the young men´s and women´s shoe designer can reportedly call Celebrities such as Madonna, Mary-Kate Olsen, Kanye West und Jay-Z his fans.
Personally, some of his shoes are kind of “too platform” for me, but “The Terminator” is a kind of shoe I go crazy for.

Others on Alejandro Ingelmo: Never Love You More, Sneaker Swag, Aston Mozie, We Wore What.
