Belle Sauvage - The Definition of “Ultra”

8. September 2008 Designers & Labels, T-Shirts & Hoodies Judith

After multiplying the erotic silhouette of a cyberspace dominatrix with an artistically illustrated comic-book you add the power of lax comfort and high-quality materials with the exponent bold color. After that, you extract the root with the variables boldness and coquetry and the result is: Belle Sauvage.

Absolutely nothing for the faint hearted, but definitely a label we will have to face. If Belle Sauvage would be a marching band, i would say, they come with kettledrums and trumpets, rataplans and fanfares. Unfortunately, this doesn´t really fit an upcoming fashion label - so i rather recommend: fasten your seatbelts. They mean style, they mean fashion, they mean business and “ultra” is the subscribes superlative, the London-based designer-duo has chosen: Ultra-Print, Ultra-Silhouette, Ultra-Color.Kelly Osbourne already solved the arithmetic problem and counts on Belle Sauvage when it comes to becoming an eye-catcher and even Blow PR was smelling a rat and act for the young brand despite of the absolute newcomer status.

Virginia Ferreira and Christian Neumann, the heads behind Belle Sauvage have just been in Paris for Pret à Porter to show their SS09 collection. For those who want to know the next year´s Belle Sauvage looks, check here.
