In Moskow, Denis Simachev calls the shots
25. April 2008 Designers & LabelsIn Moskow, Denis Simachev calls the shots at least when it comes to fashion. Last year, he experimented with sowjet-symbols and created a T-Shirt on which Putin´s Portrait was respledenting ramed by stitched flowers. The partyfolk and fashionists loved it.
His summer collection is inspired by the romance of the road and puts on the man as thrilling, independent Dandy-Gipsy-Gangster. The text in the press release couches it in nice terms:
“The hero of new DENIS SIMACHEV collection is a fast liver, gambler, scapegrace and party-goer. He doesn’t care about public morals and code of ethics. To build a house, to plant a tree and to bring up the son - these states no way are his dreams. He’s obsessed by the idea to hit the jackpot by all means and vanish (get lost) right after in order to squander all money for a second. Gipsy values are easy money, cars, girls’ love and freedom - a glamorous life full of pleasure and fun.”
Denis Simachev stages classic cuts with exciting materials and a variety of colors, sportive pieces fraternize with the elegant ones and bow tie and cut are missing just as little as T-Shirts with graphic-prints, patent leather belts and bold golden necklaces.
Puh, what a combination! That guy is on top! Honestly, it´s absolutely nothing for your dearest slight-stomaches-bold-headed-dads or the blond-blue-eyed-poloralphlauren-hanseatic-boy, but it´s THE OPTION for all urban guys that wanna get rid of the ho-hum streetwear-style.
