when Kim Leemans and Merel Wicker came up with a clownish patchwork-excursion called „Nachbarin“. There was nothing but doubt and boredom. Doubting my intuition, doubting the groundbreaking position i once awarded to the young label i bored myself away till….yesterday.

Oh yeah. Kim Leemans and Merel Wicker announced their new collection LEWlight and – SURPRISESUPRPISE – it´s blasting.
The unique, intelligent and beautiful LEW signature is back and Kim Leemans and Merel Wicker do absolutely convince with great color-work, complex cuts which create braiding- and layering effects on wearable pieces and a mix of voile, jersey and thin knitting.
Great work, great effort.
If only „light” would always be so satisfying….
