Little Dolls by Alain Delorme
10. November 2008 Art & Fashion

As in this country its usual to photoshop children into ads for sweets, washing agents, dad´s insurance and the family car, in the US, sexed-up miss-dolls and infant-queens celebrate a familiar presence on provincial and large city stages…
Poodle-like garnished, they tambourine and step themselves into the hearts of their ambitious mum´s and masturbating YouTube pedophiles.
Beauty is capital - lection number one.
Sex sells, also at infancy. We are already used to.
The message is also arrived here, even when the styled-up girls are “already” 13, when they sprawl out fashion magazines.
Alain Delorme dealt critically with the use of children-photography in the advertising business and presents with “Little Dolls” an ironic photo-series that exaggerates western beauty ideals and the commercial use of innocent youth.
