Woman in my age would approve – we finally arrived there, where our mothers once have been: In the Revival-Generation. Skinny jeans, Dr Martens, Converse Chucks and tie-dye T-Shirts once have been part of everyday life. Such was the Palestinian headdress, worn as scarf. ( continue reading)
Beein part of this generation makes life pretty fortunate sometimes.
I reawoke my Doc Martens from their 15-years sleep and while others´ve been busy to walk them comfy, mine already looked alife like Rock Stars.
I still know how tie-dying works and somewhere on my attic, there those black and white stripes super skinny pants i am looking forward to wear again.
But not always revivals appear so pleasantly.

At the latest, when the vertikal brands brought back the Paletistine scarf, i was painfully and ashamingly reminded of the times that black-white checkered scarf seemed to be adhered on my neck.
There was no Judith without a Paletine scarf – and i thought this was pretty smart.
Thinking today about this Faux-Pas i am king-size ashamed and i decided, to never ever wear such a thing again. This photo project underlined my decision.
Till yesterday, i thought to have learned my lesson.
But it seemed, that i learned the wrong one. Maybe it´s called “Never say Never” instead of saying “I´ll never do this again”.
Fenke presented the Capsule Collection, born out of a collaboration of Andrea Crews and Lala Berlin.
The collection clearly references the Palestine scarf and the dresses are….stunning.
So what i learned is, that Andrea Crews and Lala Berlin easily demonstrated to me how ridiculous my personal No Go statement is, and i guess, besides all my resolutions i can imagine that the Palestine scarf comes back in my wardrobe- reborn as a dress.
