Eleven years ago, Bent Angelo Jensen started with a vintage suit rental service, today, he`s one of the most talented German tailors who raises eyebrows with mixing traditional cuts with modern class. Based in Hamburg, his label Herr von Eden dresses urban dandys, excentric bohemiens, artists and everyday guys who never have imagined to ever change their jeans-and-sweatshirt-look.

Always charming Florence is running Hamburg`s Daniela Bar. For The Zoo i talked with her about young designers, jumpsuits and neon shoes...and much more. Enjoy the video here.

Female warriors in film and female warriors in fashion have one big thing in common: they are uber-sexy. The big difference: the better the fashion, the less cheap is the interpretation of warrior outfits but the worse the film the tighter and transparent they become. WORD.
Inspired by Kate Beckinsale in Underworld, Tina Turner in Mad Max and Jane Fonda in Barbarella the former Burberry designer Samantha Cole created pieces for the female warrior avant-garde.
Cheap-chic is far, intelligent sex appeal close.
As embarrassed I was when I realized that Coca-Cola Light did an Exhibition within the Experimenta Design Biennale`s Program, as tickled I was when I saw the hilarious household weapons. Those pieces have been created by the Cabracega Studio by re-inventing 2nd hand objects which have been collected during the Coca-Cola Light campaign.
They remind me on the glorious Umbrellas for the Civil but Discontent Man-collection and I bet, if there would be a laser-teaser included, domestic work would immediately become men`s favorite hobby.

It`s hairy. It`s entertaining. It`s intelligent. It`s Hair'em Scare'em, a new book by Gestalten presenting hairy works in the context of contemporary art, design and fashion by featuring artists such as Levi van Veluw, Julian Wolkenstein and Nick Cave.

"Hair'em Scare'em presents an extraordinary exploration through the fascinating beauty and inventive possibilities of hair as a medium for artistic expression in contemporary art and design.
The book documents this palpable trend into a visual sourcebook that presents a captivating collection of hairy works in graphic design, photography, illustration and art as well as interior design, fashion and jewelry design. The extraordinary works featured in this book are the best indication of trends in hair outside the mainstream."
After having spent the last five years as an art director, graphic designer and illustrator at the creative collective Acne, graphic designer Daniel Carlsten launched his own business. His portfolio shows off his expertise in visual identities and graphic design of printed matter and my favorite is the printed Acne invite for the release of the 5th Acne Paper, the elegant issue.

This is pure sculpture perfection. “The Invisible Shoe” is one of four stunning conceptual shoes by Andreia Chaves, a Brazilian footwear designer. On Yatzer, you can find more and on today and tomorrow, Pieter tells you, for which fashion designer collection The Invisible Shoes would be the perfect match.
