Preview: smeilinener autumn/winter collection

smeilinener remains true to itself: with distinctive graphic aesthetics designer Mischa Woeste presents with the smeilinener AW collection “Mind Games” a new pattern that is inspired by a landscape architectural model.
Amount of lines of architectural models combine all the points the same amount at regular intervals by a curve and serve as attitude information. The precise thought process during production and the mental challenge of thinking result in a collection “Mind Games”.
Made from high-quality textiles like stretch silk, and 100% Trevira wool, the smeilinener collection impresses with self-confident combinations of forms, colors and materials. Chocolate, caramel, lilac blue and silver blue predominate and will lighten up even the darkest winterdays with an elegant-cheerful finery.
Mischa Woeste graduated from the school ESMOD fashion in Berlin and founded her own label. smeilinener won in 2006 the Baltic Fashion Award under the chairmanship of Escada Executive Wolfgang Ley whose appreciation and praise for the “Sunny Side Up” collection were contributing to the success of the show . In May 2007 smeilinener re-opened the flagship store in Berlin with a new store design. At the Berlin Fashion Week in July 2007 Mischa Woeste presented two collections: “Jolie Jumper” and “Midsummer Nights’ Dream”.
Few days ago, the smeilinener collection was presented at Mados Infekcija (Fashion infection) - a famous conceptual and innovative event in Lithuania celebrating fashion and art, a platform for young designers and professionals that combines shows with a number of special presentations and exhibitions.
