Pudel SS09 – Unisex advanced
24. January 2009 Designers & Labels

“Different though the sexes are, they inter-mix.
In every human being vacillation from one sex to the other takes place,
and often it is only the clothes that keep the male and female likeness,
while underneath the sex is very opposite of what it is above” – by V.Wolf.
With the idea of boys and girls swapping each other’s clothes, creating their own way of wearing by mixing, matching and layering the garments, Scandinavian-born, now London-based label Pudel was introduced to the fans of androgynous fashion only three seasons ago…
Inspired by Scandinavian simplicity and the edgy East London chic, the two designers behind Pudel, Lina Osterman and Jens Laugesen, focus on basic pieces in monochromatic colors such as black, white and gray.
As “basic” the Pudel collection appears, as charming it stays even on the second sight. Classic skinnys, T-Shirts and Shirts build the stage for the more advanced shiny, oversized and/or transparent cardigans and longsleeves. Dresses and blazers round the Pudel portfolio into an adorable “must-have” collection which will give you on nearly occasion a simple and casual, but superior chic.
Pudel is available at it´s own UK-based online-shop, as well at OAK in the US.
