Samantha Cole – Let`s Fight
14. December 2009 Designers & Labels
Female warriors in film and female warriors in fashion have one big thing in common: they are uber-sexy. The big difference: the better the fashion, the less cheap is the interpretation of warrior outfits but the worse the film the tighter and transparent they become. WORD.
Inspired by Kate Beckinsale in Underworld, Tina Turner in Mad Max and Jane Fonda in Barbarella the former Burberry designer Samantha Cole created pieces for the female warrior avant-garde.
Cheap-chic is far, intelligent sex appeal close.
The outfits are way more queenly suits of armor than blockbuster ass-and-boobs randomness and thrill with dramatic silhouettes and elaborated material mixes.
This is fighting garments at its best.
Even when they make fighting impossible.Maybe this is what i like about them the most.
