Elisa Stroyzk – Wood Work

8. July 2009 Accessories & Jewelry, Art & Fashion Judith

One thing I like about blogging is that things cross my path I never knew about before. Today, I learned that surface design and future textile design are acknowledged design disciplines, people study.

Elisa Stroyzk from Berlin for example, she graduated from KHB Berlin and Central Saint Martins London, turns heads with her incredible wood-rug and also applies her knowledge beyond the fields of art. From wall coverings, interior designs and furniture, Elisa Stroyzk presents an exciting output on the work with textiles, volumes and spaces. Have a look on her work here. (more…)

Buda and Pest – Yung Da

17. June 2009 Art & Fashion, Designers & Labels Judith

Traditionally, fashion elite school Central Saint Martins releases its MA graduates with the privilege of defile in the context of London Fashion Week into professional life. And yesterday it was the 2009 graduates who entered the stage. Only a cold comfort in view of the fierce economic situation but at least a working tool to get attention as initial aid which is way more than students from ordinary design schools can expect.
