Dish of the Day - Hvass&Hanniball
14. August 2008 Art & Fashion

After 4 days writing about Copenhagen Fashion Week i promise, i prescribed a “Denmark-Pause” to the Zoo and to me. But as luck would have it, ArtRebels just lead me to… Hvass&Hanniball … and Hvass&Hanniball right went into my heart.
The young Copenhagen based art and design studio is runned by two highly creative woman -Sofie Hanniball and Nan Na Hvass- who seem to be artistic-powerhorses concerning the amount of output in multiple design and art disciplines. From illustration to graphic- and productdesign, from artwork, installations to textiles in the Hvass&Hanniball portfolio there´s nearly no creative discipline excluded. Dish of the Day is a free project by the designer duo - if it´s the entry ticket into the advanced discipline of food design might be questionable, but still, a fun project to watch. Don´t forget to check out the Hvass&Hanniball workshow. DGI City is also a project i got into.

Kristine Mandsberg - Illustrations
30. July 2008 Art & Fashion, Designers & Labels

Danish textile designer, illustrator and artist Kristine Mandsberg just finished her MA studies at the Royal College of Art in London. Her works convince with a blithe freshness and i am pretty curious which creative road she will take after her studies.

Wear It For The Boy - Ladyfinger Collection No.2
23. July 2008 Designers & Labels, Knitwear
Few months ago, the limited Wear It For The Boy ladyfingers collection caught my eyes - light, summerly knit-dresses, manufactured with a special technique and knitted with a shiny cotton made in Italy. (You can see it here). And now the ladyfinger-story continues - i just detected the winter edition that´ll bring us joyful and humorous through the inevitable coming winter.
