“The Cactus, The Bear, and The Mountain” is not a children book, it`s an ecological knitwear collection inspired by limit challenging youthful curiosity, taking visual cues from Indian culture. Created within 11 weeks by The Danish Design Scholl students Tine Winther Rysgaard and Trine Kristoffersen for the for Innovating Sustainable Fashion Competition 2009. Well, i have to admit, at first i thought it`s just another circus-inspired fashion project that lags behind those incredible and famous ones we have seen in the past seasons. I mean, even Topshop had those Harlekinesque designs and this definitely marks the end of innovation. But, as Diane Pernet wisely statet, trends doesn´t matter, it´s way more important that somebody has something to say, Karen Segall should be one to be watched. 
The Danish Design School Graduate with an MA in visual communication, goes less for Photoshop than for illustration meeting fashion and interpretes the circus theme quite darker and rougher as i´ve seen it so far in fashion. The great thing about Copenhagen-based label best behaviour is: The collections are sophisticated but casual, easy to wear but with an intelligent twist, grown up but with an edgy chic.
