We become Thirty

All of us have to become thirty.
And it´s not as horrible as it seems – they say. My friends, my acquaintances and my colleagues. “With thirty, life just begins”, “You´ll take everything more relaxed”, “Sex will even get better”. And you become more beautiful and so on and so on.

Break.

Thinking of the big thirty, inside of me, it´s shouting for post-youth-depression, varicose veins and peau d´orange. So it´s great to see, that they age with my. My early loves.
And they haven´t been always male – they also have been made from canvas. They were for the brave. “Only for the brave”.
And they went directly from the Christmas wish list into the wardrobe. I was proud. I was 14. Different rules. Different live.  Farewell cuteness. (more…)
