Dusty is a menswear label from Finland created by designer Marjut Uotila. Dusty mixes minimal Scandinavian design with more traditional menswear aesthetics and art-oriented slant to create wearable signature pieces, inspired by Finnish folktales, heroes and legends. The woven shirt is my weekly darlin´ - it reminds me of the great and famous Artysm luxury streetwear collection, but fortunately isn´t a poor copy, but rather a succesful advancement of woven styles in sophisticated and smart menswear collections.

Although it´s two years ago (sorry for being late) that COMPANY came up with these dance shoes for father and daughter i HAVE to bring that thing up…maybe there are some people - like me- that haven´t already seen that fabulous invention. When visiting Germany in 2006, the designer duo had the strong idea that Germany must have a lot of Schumachers. I really have no clue, why they came up with that idea - because like everywhere, the professional Schuhmachers are also very rare in Germany.
Anyway, they found one: Toni Engelberger. He taught Aamu and Johan for some months and helped in developing the Tanssitossut Model which is one of the funniest, essential, cross-cultural products that I have seen for years. Today, some of the dance shoes are manufactured in Finland and are available in the COMPANY online store for about 80 €.

Here, you can see some of the many products and ideas of com-pa-ny. Aren´t they great?
