Can´t help - i just see some analogies in the sculptural knitwear by Sandra Backlund and Lucas Nascimento.
Both work with the female silhouette and create artistic, unique shapes that are built around the body like artpieces.
But still, huge difference is, that the grandmaster of knitwear: Sandra Backlund creates pieces that are more art than fashion…and the more edgy aspiring Knitwear designer Lucas Nascimento creates the fashion pieces that inherit a touch of art.
So for today, i leave it at that and consider this post as some kind of knitspiration.
