Family Affairs – Cross-continental fashion by mother and daughter

In between vintage dreams and new femaleness. With its second collection, the mother-daughter label Family Affairs does felicitous splits of old and new, modern and classic. Although I don´t see myself in this pieces, I consider Family Affairs a remarkable fashion label which I hope to see growing in the following years.

It´s not only a family business, runned by jewelry designer Nina Egli and fashion designer Kaya Egli, a mother-daughter duo – Family Affairs is also a notable example of cross-continental work. While Nina is based in New York, USA, Kaya lives in Switzerland. The one brings the inspiration, the other give the imagination free rein and together they create a wonderful and unique fashion island, visibly lead with heart and soul. (more…)
