As embarrassed I was when I realized that Coca-Cola Light did an Exhibition within the Experimenta Design Biennale`s Program, as tickled I was when I saw the hilarious household weapons. Those pieces have been created by the Cabracega Studio by re-inventing 2nd hand objects which have been collected during the Coca-Cola Light campaign.
They remind me on the glorious Umbrellas for the Civil but Discontent Man-collection and I bet, if there would be a laser-teaser included, domestic work would immediately become men`s favorite hobby. (more…)

Dresses with little pockets for colored felt-tip pens that bleed into the fabric? At first glance this sounds kind of odd to me. But Portuguese artist Fernando Brizio disabuses me.
As part of the Turin-based exhibition “flexibility – design in a fast changing society” Brizio turns heads with his “renewable clothing”, based on the concept I mentioned before. With lassy fair i introduced a small German jewellery label that does wonderful laser cut-out jewellery – predominantly with fary tail motives. With Delicious Muovi the story continues. It´s a small label from Portugal that offers handcrafted pieces that are produced on demand. Although it´s plastic stuff i like some of the motives …and by the way, the price isn´t bad, too. Getting a handcrafted piece for only 14 € is even perfect for those who want to wear the necklaces for only one season.
