The fabulous world of Donna Wilson

28. June 2009 Shop, Weekly Darlin Judith

Although i am not for the playful and multi-colored things in my home, i´ve already mentioned that I´d love to share my living with squirrel Rudy Racoon and Oscar the dog, knitted by London-based super-knitter Donna Wilson. Now, there´s something new – the Donna Wilson trays. I have to admit, those great illustrated pieces would be the perfect fit for my lazy sunday breakfast mornings in bed. (more…)

Weekly Darlin´ – Woven shirt from Finlands menswear label Dusty

29. June 2008 Designers & Labels, Weekly Darlin Judith

dusty_finland_menswear_knit_woven_shirt.jpg

Dusty is a menswear label from Finland created by designer Marjut Uotila. Dusty mixes minimal Scandinavian design with more traditional menswear aesthetics and art-oriented slant to create wearable signature pieces, inspired by Finnish folktales, heroes and legends. The woven shirt is my weekly darlin´ – it reminds me of the great and famous Artysm luxury streetwear collection, but fortunately isn´t a poor copy, but rather a succesful advancement of woven styles in sophisticated and smart menswear collections.

Weekly Darlin´- paper-bag for french fries by Stefan Marx

Unfortunately there´s no snack bar that sells French fries in that cute, artsy little paper bag.
I think – they should all do!!! Event the taste wouldn´t change, the feeling would definetifely.
Unfortunately, it´s an unique piece, shown in the spring/summer catalogue of Stefan Marx´s T-Shirt label The Lousy Livincompany. At least…visually enjoyable.
