The Black Whole – Garment Poetry by Helena Hörstedt
11. November 2008 Designers & Labels

Some days age, I impatiently asked “When will Helena Hörstedt´s summer come?“.

Helena Hörstedt is a young Swedish designer who graduated from Beckmans School of Design in Stockholm in 2004.
Since then, she caught attention with her highly unique, complex and always black designs.
Combining the genuine work of handcrafting and tailoring with her talent for construction the young Swedish designer creates usable and wearable visual experiences and manages to surprise with every collection.
My WOW of the day goes to Sweden. The Black Whole was never more fascinating and beautiful.
