Versace´s interim injunction against artist Filomeno Fusco
17. December 2008 Art & Fashion
Mhhhh…artists be careful. Versace´s watching you.
Picking up the theme of urban gentrification, Hamburg-based artist Filomeno Fusco just got sued got not sued by the Italian luxury brand Versace for his installation in Hamburg multi-cultural quarter St. Pauli.
What a pitty – quite nice idea to come up with showing what kind of consequences the gentrification of former less valuable quarters brings. Good luck, Filomeno – hope the Versace fine isn´t too expensive.
UPDATE – Versace didn´t sue Filomeno Fusco & the artist just got the 29th working grant of the town Hamburg. Congrats.
