19. February 2008 Rare & Limited, Shoes & SneakersIf you wanna bee the owner of one of the strictly limited Clarks Wallabee “Futura” you should better be fast in elbowing your way to get the special edition. For the second time, Graffiti-legend Futura teamed up with Clarks to customize the famous Wallabee model that was once introduced by Lane Clark in 1965…
Based on the comfortable Clarks Wallabee with a black suede upper and chocolate brown premium leather sidewall Futura added his key signatures. His trademark the atomic ring tag was laser-etched into the brown side leather and with camouflage laces on top Futura repeats a motif that he uses since his days in the US-Navy. In spite of artsy graffiti-influences the “Futura” still stays a origin Wallabee with the obligatory crepe sole and the famous matchless comfort. The result of the game of two living legends is a felicitous contemporary footgear for urban movers ´n shakers.
