Weekend in Paris - Gareth Pugh, Veronique Leroy, Anne Valérie Hash & Bless

29. September 2008 Designers & Labels Judith

GARETH PUGH - Weekend in Paris was all about Gareth Pugh. Fast as the wind the catwalk pictures raved through the web and critics agreed: It was big. It was forward. It was hot.
Art and fashion – Gareth Pugh unifies it like not many are able to. No more words – others already used them in an excellent way. While I am still stunned and joyous, I recommend to continue reading about Gareth Pugh´s show here and here.

VERONIQUE LEROY - Veronique Leroy´s collection came way less gentrified and swank, but likable and wearable. Although the first attribute that popped up in my mind was “Too much Madame” in the second sight, I found pieces I really go for:

ANNE VALÉRIE HASH - Anne Valérie Hash brings contrasting shapes, Greek influences and color gradients with her SS09 Collection. A collection that´s not about reinventing the wheel, but unites elegance and wearability . Here my favorite pieces:
BLESS - While I was really curious abou the Bless show I am little bit sad to not find some exquisite image material. Diane Pernet posted some photos of the Bless presentation and on Showstudio I found a review closing in a disappointed mood. I am even more curious and hope to find some pictures soon.
